About My Work

My work begins in my heart and soul. My objective is to bring beauty with a sense of peace to the canvas and/or fine art paper using my camera, computer and printer.

Hours are spent searching for fabrics, objects, flowers, and inspiration. The natural sunlight I use in my work gives me the perfect element of mood and shadowing that I strive for in each of my pieces.

After shooting I download the images to my computer and select the one to which I am drawn. Editing the picture to my personal taste takes hours of adjustments, print tests and contemplation until I get what I consider a perfectly beautiful fine art piece.

Often times I manipulate my work to render a painterly quality as I see befitting. Not all my images register as such, only those, which I feel, are appropriate in that style. I do this using different software in which I am able to use my computer like a paintbrush.

My final pieces are printed onto canvas and/or fine art paper using my giclee printer. My canvas pieces are signed limited editions of 100 in each size. I also produce signed prints and unsigned cards.

My canvas giclees are hand-coated with a clear varnish giving my piece protection and added texture. My canvas pieces are gallery wrapped around the wood stretchers eliminating visible staples on the sides making them ready to hang and enjoy immediately.
